I’m Laura Gunn, the heart behind Fecanin Films. I live in beautiful North Eastern Pennsylvania with my amazing husband. The name Fecanin comes from my maiden name, a little piece of my past that I’ve carried into this dream.


I filmed my first wedding at just 16 years old, not realizing then that what started as a fun hobby would one day become my full-time passion. It wasn’t until I graduated from the University of Alabama that I truly leaned into filmmaking and decided to pursue it with everything I had.


Today, Fecanin Films exists to tell stories that matter...yours. Whether it’s the biggest day of your life or a quiet, meaningful moment, I’m here to preserve it with purpose, beauty, and heart.

I approach each film with fresh eyes, because no two stories are the same. Whether it's the quiet moments before you say “I do,” the tears in your parents' eyes, or the laughter shared with friends—I’m there to catch the in-between, the unscripted, and the unforgettable.


I’m not just here to film your day—I’m here to preserve how it felt. My style leans toward natural movement, true-to-life colors, and a touch of cinematic magic. I gently guide when needed, but I’m never intrusive. My goal is for you to feel fully present in your moment, while I take care of telling the story.


At the end of the day, I want you to watch your film years from now and feel everything all over again.
